Polk Pipeline

Polk Pipeline

The Polk Pipeline gathers natural gas from the Polk production well and conveys it to a nearby Columbia Natural Gas transmission pipeline.

WallacePancher Group performed environmental investigations, which included a botanical survey for the Bushy St. John’s Wort (Hypericum densiflorum) a PA listed threatened species. WPG also designed and permitted the 2.5-mile long, 6-inch diameter gathering pipeline in Henry Clay and Wharton Townships, Fayette County, PA on behalf of LPR Midstream Partners, LLC.

An Acid Producing Rock (APR) Plan was prepared as part of the permit application submission due to this project being near a historically surface mined area. PADEP Southwest Regional Office approved the ESCGP-2 and GP-5 & GP-8 permits for the project (in a High-Quality watershed).
