Marshall County Commission selected Hays LAS, a WallacePancher Group company, to design and develop a master plan for the area surrounding the Marshall County Courthouse. Plans for the courthouse include an emphasis on ADA accessibility, organization of memorials, rehabilitation of the memorial fountain (phase two), and landscape overall character.

The design focused on maintaining the historical value of the courthouse and surrounding area while integrating the current regulations and standards.
