Richland Engineering Limited (REL), headquartered in Mansfield, OH, officially became part of WallacePancher Group (WPG). REL celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2018 and provides highway and airport engineering, structural engineering, bridge design and inspection, municipal engineering, traffic engineering and surveying. REL’s owners and management team will continue in their leadership roles in the new organization and will continue to operate out of their current location.
REL’s highly trained staff of nearly thirty (30) Civil, Sanitary, Highway, Structural and Airport Engineers along with surveyors, technicians, draftspersons and computer operators, joins WPG’s staff of civil engineers, environmental scientists and landscape architects. The combined company becomes a full-service engineering consulting firm that can address the many challenges often associated with complex projects.
REL has provided transportation and bridge engineering and surveying services to the Ohio Department of Transportation for more than fifty-two (52) years and is prequalified in eleven (11) ODOT categories being classified as Complex. “Bringing our companies together provides a fantastic opportunity to offer a wide range of services to our combined clients and offers all of our employees the opportunity to work within different engineering disciplines”, says Daniel Wallace, P.E. co-founder and Principal of WPG.
While the combined company will be very strong in the civil engineering and surveying disciplines, WPG’s Environmental Analysis and Landscape Architecture and Planning services provide a well-rounded slate of services to offer our expanded client list. “We are excited to bring together our two smaller, but very experienced companies to offer new services to each of our clients.
