OSU Remembrance Park Monuments

The creation of Remembrance Park was a way for The Ohio State University to honor and commemorate all those who have served their country. The OSU alumni who have made the ultimate sacrifice are memorialized on the Battelle Wall of Honor and Remembrance. The park is open to students, faculty, military family members, and the public as a place for reflection. Remembrance Park also serves as a green space for ROTC and the Department of Athletics events, ceremonies, and family activities.

Hays LAS contracted with The Ohio State University to provide design, construction documentation and construction administration for the project. The area includes a brick plaza and trees that commemorates the five branches of the military, as well as the prisoners of war and missing in action. Remembrance Park also includes a granite and bronze monument honoring athletics, academics, service and the OSU tradition, which OSU football players honor on their way to the stadium each game day.
